KCRC wants to connect runners and walkers in their own neighborhoods. There is most likely a group run close to you. This is a great way to stay motivated, hook up with runners that run your same pace, log some miles, and make some new friends. Group runs (and walks) are all informal so you just need to show up. If you have an existing group or want to start one, let us know and we will help you find other runners in your neighborhood.
The Weekly Group Runs do change times and/or locations occasionally so keep an eye on our website or “like” the KCRC Facebook Page for any weekly reminders! If you are not a KCRC member, you’re welcome to attend any of these runs just by showing up! Try one out a few times, and join once you have decided it is a right fit for you. You can join here!

Sunday – Northland Runners at 7:00am (June-September) / 8:00am (October-May) from Macken Park, on the west side of the park along Howell Street by the restrooms. Monday – Brookside Run at 6:00pm Meet at The Brooksider Sports Bar and Grill parking lot (West side of the building) in the heart of Brookside. We will congregate inside the back door in inclement weather. Run any pace, any distance, along the Trolley Track Trail. Then hang out with new and old running friends at The Brooksider with beer specials! Ask where KC Running Club is sitting if you care to join us just for the social portion of the evening. Tuesday – Liberty Run / Track Workout at 6:30pm Meet at the Liberty Community Center, 1600 S Withers Rd., Liberty, MO 64068. It’s an out and back 5-6 miles with a track workout or option to not do the track. Follow our Liberty Group on Facebook.
Wednesday – Intervals & Speed Sessions at 6:00pm Meet at Shawnee Mission East High School track, 75th and Mission Rd in Prairie Village. If you want to learn to pace yourself, you can do tempo work at these sessions. For those that want to get faster, speed work / intervals are offered as well. Wednesday Night Run at 6:00pm at a different location throughout Kansas City. Join a Kansas City running tradition since 1982! Several times each quarter we invite you to join runners and walkers who meet at a host’s home for a run followed by a potluck dinner. It’s a great opportunity to go fast, then slow down to meet new people and see new areas of KC! Wednesday – Liberty Run at 6:30pm Meet at Rock and Run Brewery, 110 Kansas St., Liberty, MO. Water stop and mapped, marked courses every week. Have questions? Thursday – Blue Springs Run at 6:30pm. Join us for a run from a rotation of locations: Adams Dairy Parkway, from the Northeast side of the parking lot at The Home Depot in Blue Springs. The parkway offers a wide asphalt/concrete sidewalk for up to total 14mi (out/back). This path is also well lit for most of the way with a few water fountains to help keep you hydrated. You can run any distance you want. ALL paces are welcome… walkers too!! Saturday Morning – Near the Country Club Plaza at 7:00am Meet in front of Aixois at 55th St. and Brookside Blvd. This is a group for anyone that is running! We have courses for 3 miles to marathon training in all pace groups. Show up and run as long or short as you like. Saturday Morning – Lee’s Summit Run at 7:00am Meet at Gusto! Coffee Shop across from Longview College (3390 SW Fascination Dr., Lee’s Summit, MO 64081). Saturday Morning – Southern Overland Park Run at 7:00am Meet at Queen’s Restaurant (located inside Price Chopper, 7201 W 151st St, Overland Park, KS 66223). All runners and walkers are welcome.
