Polar Plunge & Strut 5K | 1Mi – Salina

February 16 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

13th Annual Salina Plunge & 5K Strut is presented by the Salina Police Department, a participating agency in the Kansas Law Enforcement Torch Run benefiting Special Olympics Kansas.

The Polar Plunge is an annual event that takes place throughout the state to raise money for Special Olympics Kansas. Brave individuals raise money leading up to the event and on the day of they jump into the icy waters of Kansas pools or lakes!  Polar Struts vary by location but may consist of a 5K, 5K run/walk, 1 mile fun run/walk or even a cross country run. Go for time or enjoy a stroll. Either way you’ll be strutting your stuff for Special Olympics Kansas! The Strut, like the Plunge, requires a minimum donation to participate and we encourage you to raise more money for the cause.
