The Heartland RaceWalkers have invited Dave McGovern for a World Class Racewalking Clinic, Overland Park, KS Aug 6-8. 2010
Friday: 6:30 Pasta dinner and orientation, Saturday: 9:00-5:00, Sunday: 8:00-4:00
Fee: $175, Registration Closing Date Sunday July 31, 2010 @ 11:59 PM
Description:Clinic fee includes individual video-taped technique analysis; group technique and training instruction; use of Polar Heart Rate Monitors; all pertinent handouts and Friday evening pasta dinner in most cities. Walkers of ALL abilities are encouraged to attend. Beginners benefit by interacting with more advanced walkers, while advanced walkers learn a
lot by watching the progress made by the beginners.

Dave McGovern is a globe-trotting racewalking coach and a 22+ year veteran of the US National Racewalk Team with a master’s degree in sport science from the United States Sports Academy. Dave has conducted racewalking and marathon walking clinics and week-long training camps all over the world since 1991.
