44 Miles in 80+ degree heat – Piece of cake!

by

Brooks Williams and Andy Henshaw

Brooks Williams, the ultra runner with cystic fibrosis who’s been written up in Runner’s World won the solo Brew to Brew title this year.  He’s shown with Andy Henshaw (red shirt) who holds the B2B course record.  What a great day for running and fun!  And raising money for CF.  KCTC expects to donate nearly $40,000.

Below is KCTC board member Ann Kohn at the finish line just one of the hundreds of photos from the race you can view on seekcrun.com.

The heat was something, but the constant head wind was brutal. Brooks quickly left the rest of us solos at the start and that was that. He kept me going through the race.
