• Race Services

    KCTC is the most experienced finish line service provider in the Kansas City area and helps local charities and organizations manage about 40 runs each year. KCTC can help you plan your race and provide all the key services you require.   We’ll work with you to tailor a solution based on your goals and experience.  KCTC works with Race Day Timing Solutions to bring you the latest in electronic chip timing. A few area races that KCTC directs or supports include:  Brew to Brew, St Pat’s in Westport, Cliff Hanger, Abby’s Run for the Heart, Law Day, Broadway Bridge and many more.   The KC Trail Nerds – our trail running affiliate hosts over 10 area trail races each year including Pyschodelic Run Toto Run, Mrs. Robinson’s Ramble, and the Free State Trail Runs.  Contact us before you commit to a date and to  get a free copy of our guide to “Putting on a Success Road Race”.

    Finish Line Services

     Services include chip timing, an overhead clock, a timing device, finish chutes, finish line arches, cones, air horn and the services of four or more experienced key volunteers. Our minimum club fee for a small (100-runner) charity race is $600. For a race of moderate size, the fee is $750, plus $250 for the KCTC Race Director.  Contact the club for a quote on larger events.
    Course Measurement

    KCTC measures and certifies more courses than any other organization in Kansas and Missouri.  We have several experienced course measurers. A 5K course is usually $120.
    Equipment Rental

    KCTC rents race equipment to organizations that wish to staff their own events. The most popular rental items are overhead clocks (single-sided and double-sided). Manual timing devices, finish line arch, finish or start line inflatable trusses in 10ft, 15ft and 30 ft.  Traffic cones, chutes, small sound systems, megaphones, forms, bib numbers and safety pins and other small items are also available.
